Your time is the single most valuable resource available to you. Both you and a billionare experience the same year timewise. Why would you waste yours scrolling or trading your time for money (ex. working a 9-5)? You could be doing SO much more with your time. Let me explain.
I've been creating content for 10 months and it allowed me to understand how valuable our time actually is. I can do SO much volume in just a week and get INSANE returns that wasting even a single day feels horrible.
BUT this is important: Working on the wrong things can also be detrimental. You need to be doing things that have exponential upside. Creating content, doing business, launching an app and so on. These won't yield results instantly, but as you put more time into them, you will start to see the returns compound.
When I create a video, I give it the same effort I did 5 months ago. But the returns I get are much higher. I can do a collaboration and get paid 10x the amount I used to 5 months ago, while giving it similar effort.
This is what I mean by exponential returns. I didn't work harder to get these bigger deals, I just got better at creating content and providing value to these brands. My output stayed roughly the same but my value went up.
Now I'm starting from zero with my app. I'm not seeing any returns on my investment, but as soon as I find a winning format to market the app, it'll start to grow exponentially and give out incredible returns. You can achieve the same damn thing in months.
My main recommendation is to spend your time on things that have exponential upside. A 9-5 is linear. You work, you get paid, that's the deal. There's nothing wrong with that. But if you're going to put in the hours anyway, at least make sure some of those hours are going toward something that compounds. Start a side project, build something, create content. It doesn't have to replace your job overnight. It just has to get the ball rolling.
Have a good week,
Volkan
